• News Release: 12/13/2019 School Board members-elect to be sworn in Dec. 17

    Newly elected members to the Chesterfield County School Board will take their oaths of office during an investiture at 5 p.m. Dec. 17 in Chesterfield’s historic 1917 Courthouse, located at 10011 Iron Bridge Road. The incoming School Board members were elected in November 2019 to four-year terms that begin Jan. 1, 2020, and end Dec. 31, 2023.

    Superintendent Dr. Merv Daugherty will welcome attendees to the investiture ceremony. The Honorable Judge David E. Johnson will administer the oath of office for the Board-Elect: Ann Coker (Bermuda), Dot Heffron (Clover Hill), Debbie Bailey (Dale), Ryan Harter (Matoaca), and Kathryn Haines (Midlothian). Randall L. "Randy" Welch, vice chair of the Chesterfield County Electoral Board, will present the new Board members with their certificates. 

    A reception will follow immediately at the School Board Administration Building, located 9900 KrauseRoad.
