A Healthy Start 2021: Managing our Social and Emotional Health
If 2020 took a toll on you and your family, possibly your health, and maybe even your outlook - you are not alone! Please join the Women’s Business Council as we visit with Felecia Arbuah-Wilson, Chief Clinical Officer at Poplar Springs Hospital. With a vast amount of experience in serving adults and adolescents through mental health concerns, Felecia will help us better understand the emotional toll of 2020, and will equip us to help ourselves, and our loved ones, move forward into 2021 in the healthiest ways possible.
More about our speaker, Felecia Arbuah-Wilson LPC, CSAC, ACSFelecia is the Chief Clinical Officer at Poplar Springs hospital. She has been with the hospital for many years working with individuals and their families and ensuring a sound clinical product. Ms. Wilson is originally from Canada, she went to Williamsburg, Virginia to complete a Master’s degree at The College of William and Mary. Ms. Wilson completed both the Community and Addictions counseling and Marriage and Family therapy tracks.
Ms. Wilson has worked with regulatory agencies, she has done alcohol and drug prevention work in the community and she has vast experience serving adults and adolescents, assisting them to work through mental illness and behavioral health concerns. Ms. Wilson has collaborated with service providers throughout the country and she has done presentations for various populations. Ms. Wilson is also a LPC clinical supervisor and brings expertise in substance abuse services, family therapy, crisis management, and risk assessment.
