• Route 111 Update

Since the launch of the new public transportation service along Route 1, ridership has been growing. COVID-19 is changing the way that we interact with the community. GRTC is taking precautions to maintain the operation that is of need to the community. The Mon-Sat. service will be available during regular hours. Until further notice, passengers are asked to enter at the rear of the bus, unless ramp access or operator assistance is needed. To decrease interaction with high contact spaces, GRTC is suspending fare collections/enforcement. Further measures include: doubling the rate of bus cleaning, encouraging passengers to ride only for essential trips, and continual encouragement of hygienic practices by passengers and operators.
