    SAVE THE DATE  Ever wonder how much Grandma’s old oil painting is worth?  What about an heirloom china set or a turn-of-the-century shawl?
    The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia, (CHSV) will host its annual Trash or Treasure antique evaluation on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., indoors at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds.  Come join us for a day of fun and receive an oral evaluation of your items.  For items too big to carry, please bring numerous photos for your evaluation. Door prizes, silent auction, free parking, and food will be available to purchase. Appraisers on-site for the following categories: documents, sheet music, magazines, posters, maps, antique toys, sports memorabilia, dolls, clocks, watches, decorative, fine arts, furniture, glass, silver, china, pottery, stamps, vintage postcards, minerals, geodes, fossils, money, jewelry, military memorabilia, firearms, bottles, advertisements and signs, and all your other items.
    Cost is $10 per item or $25 for three items. Proceeds from this event will go to the Chesterfield Historical Society.  For information contact Karen Sadler at 804-796-7156.
