CHAMBERS AND CHESTERFIELD NEWSPAPER TO HOST LOCAL CANDIDATE FORUMS

Chesterfield County, VA – On October 17 and 24, the Chesterfield Observer, the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce and Chamber RVA will host two “Meet the Candidates” forums for the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors and School Board.
These are the only county-wide forums in which all candidates for Chesterfield’s five magisterial districts who qualify for the Nov. 5 General Election ballot are scheduled to attend. Both events are free and open to the public so voters can learn about their candidates’ platforms and priorities.
Serving as moderator for the forums is veteran political analyst Bob Holsworth, former dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University and a founding director of the Center for Public Policy and the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at VCU.

Who: Candidates for Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors and School Board
