Chamber’s Carol Taylor Receives U.S. Chamber Institute for Organizational Management Scholarship
Chesterfield, VA- Congratulations to Carol Taylor, Director of Business Development, for being one of 4 Chamber professionals awarded scholarships for the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organizational Management program. Institute is four-year professional development designed to educate participants on running a nonprofit organization with topics such as membership recruitment and retention to legal issues and finance. “We are excited to hear that Carol has been chosen for the Pay It Forward scholarship,” said Chesterfield Chamber’s President and CEO Danielle Fitz-Hugh “Carol is advocate for lifelong learning and will embrace this opportunity with true enthusiasm”.

The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1999 and is celebrating 20 years this year. Professional development is key component of programs offered by the Chamber through its Smarter Business Series, Coffee Talk events, and Ask the Experts roundtables. “As we encourage our Chambers members to become better leaders, financial stewards and community supporters, they grow. With their smart growth comes job creation and a healthy tax base to support the needs of the community. Now it’s my turn. Institute will give me some new tools for my belt to improve my support of the Chamber members.” Carol Taylor.

Carol will attend the Northeast Institute program held at Villanova University in Pennsylvania July 28-August 1, 2019.
