    At the Chesterfield Chamber, we don’t make products, we make things happen. The Events and Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful project management and execution of Chamber events, marketing efforts, and customer-facing online activities. Events are produced at the Chamber to provide valuable ways for members to connect and learn, and to raise non-dues revenue which supports the Chamber’s operations. The Events & Digital Marketing Manager reports to the Chamber President. 
    ·         Handle logistical planning and oversee all facets of event and program production.
    ·         Develop event goals, budgets, and carry out effective strategies to achieve both for these events.
    ·         Secure event sponsorships and maintain positive sponsor relations.
    ·         Develop annual sponsorship menu to attract business support; ensure fulfilment value is met.
    ·         Work with vendors to achieve the highest quality and lowest cost events; execute contracts.
    ·         Deliver weekly event performance updates and closely monitor event budgets.
    ·         Develop weekly Chamber newsletter and other email communication using Constant Contact.
    ·         Manage Chamber’s social media; including Facebook, LinkedIn and website updates.
    ·         Produce event marketing and sales materials, some graphic design.
    ·         Produce member marketing video - planning, filming, editing and publishing.
    ·         Serve as staff liaison to and work closely with these volunteer committees to ensure the success of their initiatives: Events, Professional Development, ChesterfieldYP (young professionals) and CHAMPS (Chamber Helping Achieve Meaningful Partnerships in Schools).

    Initiative to move projects forward and plan multiple events simultaneously is essential. Ability to be assigned a vision and then work independently to achieve that vision on budget. 
    Fundraising mentality essential. 
    Ability to motivate and work with volunteers; team oriented. Not an “I”, but a “we” person. Ability to make critical decisions on the fly and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. 
    Ability to work varying hours. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
    An excellent representative of our organization. 
    Clear and concise written and verbal communicator (please demonstrate this in your cover letter) 
    Ability and knowledge in multimedia production
    Technology acumen to include video marketing, social media, video production and website management
    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
    2 – 5 years event management (fundraising based strongly preferred). 
    Experience with Constant Contact marketing management. 
    Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro. 
    Social media experience, including: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram. 
    Experience with CRM software is a plus. Knowledge of website management and web design.

    20% sponsorship commission paid after completion of event and full sponsor payment received. 
    Annual team bonus potential when revenue and budget goals are met.
