 As our membership has grown to more than 540, so has our need to develop educational resources to help our members’ businesses grow and prosper. In the early stages of this important initiative, the Chamber has begun providing opportunities to develop the skills necessary to compete and win.
The first step was a set of classes to teach members how to speak Spanish. As the Hispanic population has grown throughout the county, it has become more important to develop the ability to communicate to this very important segment of our population.
There is a significant study taking place to evaluate the business education needs of our members. After all, better business people usually means more successful businesses and a more economically sound community. In 2007 we will offer numerous business education opportunities to our members. These seminars will be hosted by members at a very competitive cost to participants.
- For those interested in presenting topics, it is a way for you to make a contribution to other Chamber members AND you might just get some extra business out of it.
- For those interested in participating as learners, it is a way to hear from experts about how to apply principles targeted at making your business grow and succeed.
As we move forward with our educational opportunities, we will communicate the many possibilities that are available to members.
